Social Bodies

The culmination of a year-long, practice-based research by Honours student Caroline Ellis, Social Bodies explores the narrative potential of contact improvisation. Influenced by substantial theoretical research, the project investigates how the complex spatial interactions of bodies moving with a specific improvisation score can be used to portray interpersonal relationships, character and story, revealing moving bodies as humans.
